Plan for cleanup, 18 homes at blighted site thrills neighborsBy Tom Lambert Lansing State Journal (MI) April 27, 2006 Doug and Judy Miller were ecstatic Wednesday as they learned of plans to build a $3 million housing project on what has been an eyesore in their south Lansing neighborhood. The couple, who have lived in the neighborhood for more than 30 years, are hopeful the 18 single-family units - priced from $120,000 to $200,000 - would give a big boost to the value of their property.
