Green building set for brownfieldLehigh Valley Industrial Park breaks ground for building to house headquarters and tenants. By TOM ZANKI Easton Express-Times (PA) October 5, 2007BETHLEHEM - Lehigh Valley Industrial Park Inc. is going green with its new headquarters. So is Spillman Farmer Architects, the Bethlehem firm that designed the building and will become its anchor tenant. LVIP and business officials broke ground Thursday on the organization's next home, a two-story complex that sits on 4 acres once owned by Bethlehem Steel. Its design seeks certification that it meets environmentally friendly standards. "In essence, LVIP is committed to building a green building on a brownfield site," LVIP Chairman Jeffrey Feather said. All told, the 42,000-square-foot facility will house up to eight tenants and about 100 employees, depending on the size of the occupants, LVIP President Kerry Wrobel said. ...
