By Berkeley Brean WHEC-TV News 10 (Rochester, NY) December 11, 2007 For the first time, News 10NBC can show you what the latest redevelopment along the Genesee River in Irondequoit looks like. But unless the state changes it mind and says the land is contaminated enough to force a clean up, the development may not happen. "It seems to be a terrible waste of resource that should be developed," Al Gilbert said. Gilbert owns Voyager Marine along the Genesee River. It sits in the middle of the proposed $250 million project. "I think it would be the best thing that ever happened to Irondequoit," he said. ...
