Former General Dynamics site now redevelopment area Planning Board approves designation BY KATHY CHANG Woodbridge Sentinel (NJ) December 19, 2007 The Woodbridge Township Planning Board unanimously voted in favor of granting the former General Dynamics site, 150 Avenel St., the designation of redevelopment area last week. Paul Phillips of Phillips Preiss Shapiro Associates, a planning and real estate consulting firm in New York, presented the firm's 29-page investigation on why the area should be designated "an area in need of redevelopment," at the board meeting on Dec. 12. The site, which is 357,811 square feet on 27.54 acres, lies in an M-1 light industrial zoning district and partially in the R-6 high-density single-family residential zone. ...
