Ypsilanti Water Street parcels draw developers' interest Dan Meisler Ann Arbor Business Review (MI) May 6, 2008Marketing the 38-acre, city-owned Water Street property in Ypsilanti has proven easier now that the city is willing to split it up into parcels – at least so far. City and county officials said they were pleased with the response to their marketing efforts at the 2008 National Brownfields Conference being held this week at the Cobo Center in Detroit. Instead of seeking a large developer to take on the entire project, Assistant City Manager April McGrath said, smaller companies expressed some interest at the brownfield event. "It was a lot of smaller developers," she said. "I didn't know what to expect, but I was certainly pleased with it." ...
