Chester Co. School Proposal Draws Opposition CBS 3 News (Philadelphia, PA) June 5, 2008KIMBERTON, Pa. - A school board workshop was held in Chester County on Thursday to decide whether or not to begin construction on a new school. The proposed location for the new Kimberton Elementary School is located across the street from a superfund site. According to EPA, contaminants have apparently migrated to the school-owned property. The proposed location has parents up in arms."I believe this is a time bomb waiting to happen," Celeste McGilney said. "We have a bed of water that is contaminated and no one can say to me that that water will not come up." ...
