Midland gives Alloy Construction tax break to build The Saginaw News June 10, 2008MIDLAND -- A new Midland business got a leg up with City Council approval for a tax exemption certificate and a brownfield redevelopment plan. The first approves a 12-year industrial facilities exemption certificate for Alloy Construction Service Inc. within the Dow Chemical Waldo Avenue industrial development district. The company will build and equip Alloy Construction's headquarters, a 24,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and 7,500-square-foot office at a cost of $2.2 million.
