By Mike Slizewski Siskiyou Daily News March 23, 2009, Yreka, Calif. -Siskiyou County and the city of Yreka are awaiting results of contaminants testing at the old county yard. The site, at the corner of South Main St. and Greenhorn Road in Yreka, is considered a "brownfield" - that is, an area with potential contaminants that is eligible for cleanup by the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC).
