Lawsuit filed in Attica contamination case Justin L. Mack Lafayette Journal and Courier (IN) March 26, 2009ATTICA -- Two Attica families have filed a class action lawsuit against Kraft Global Foods Inc. seeking compensatory and punitive damages as a result of water and air pollution linked to a contaminated manufacturing site. The lawsuit, filed on behalf of Susan and Patrick Stoll and Mary and Charles Bowles, alleges that chemicals known to cause cancer in humans are among the pollutants being released into groundwater and air from a site formerly operated by P.R. Mallory & Co. According to the lawsuit, "Mallory no longer exists as a legal entity; through a series of mergers and name changes it has become (Kraft Global Foods)." ....
