Legal team hired to get Uniroyal site cleanup rolling By JOHN GALLAGHER DETROIT FREE PRESS October 1, 2009The redevelopment of the Uniroyal site, one of Detroit's longest delayed projects, appears to be inching forward. The Detroit Brownfield Redevelopment Authority today authorized the Detroit Economic Growth Corp. staff to hire legal counsel to negotiate a final agreement with corporations believed responsible for paying for an environmental cleanup of the site. ....
