Meeting on Cytec cleanup By Sam Shawver Marietta Times (OH) March 16, 2010Ken Strahler has some major concerns about a proposal for a final solution to address soil and groundwater contamination on property owned by Cytec Industries, Inc. at 1405 Greene St. in Marietta. Proposed remedies to finish cleaning up the former dye plant location, including the capping of one area containing an estimated 28,000 cubic yards of industrial waste with soil and drainage liners, will be presented during a public meeting with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency at 6 p.m. Thursday in the community room at the main building at Washington State Community College. ...
