Agency finds TCE to be human carcinogen

JACKSONVILLE DAILY NEWS (NC)

A federal advisory committee endorsed the Environmental Protection 
Agency's preliminary findings that the chemical solvent 
trichloroethylene (TCE) is a human carcinogen, according to reports from 
the Bureau of National Affairs.

On Wednesday, the EPA's Trichloroethylene Review Panel concluded a 
three-day meeting to review a large draft evaluation of TCE's health 
effects.
