PSE&G starts 1.3 megawatt solar farm on brownfield in Trenton Abby Gruen Newark Star-Ledger (NJ) August 3, 2010PSE&G formally unveiled a 1.3 megawatt solar farm under construction on a brownfield in Trenton today. The facility, one of four ground-mounted solar farms the company is developing, is part of the Newark-based utility's $515 million solar program. "We are giving new life to a once contaminated site," said Al Matos, PSE&G’s Vice President of Renewables and Energy Solutions. PSE&G expects to develop more than 20 solar projects this year, which represent an investment of more than $140 million that will create almost 300 jobs and provide New Jersey with 30 megawatts of solar generated power, the company said in a press release today. ...
