Colorado business park to get funds
Adams County and Denver will pony up after an ex-smelter site in 
Globeville is cleaned.

The 77-acre former Asarco property north of downtown is targeted for 1.1 
million square feet of industrial development after it is cleaned up.

The city and county of Denver and Adams County are teaming up with 
Denver-based Brownfield Partners on the project, known as Globeville 
Commerce Center.

"We're expecting the site to become a significant job center in as early 
as three to five years," said Derek Woodbury, spokesman for Denver's 
Office of Economic Development.
