Dangerous chemicals threaten Valley water supplies By Steve Kuzj ABC 15 TV News (Phoenix, Arizona) September 30, 2010AVONDALE, AZ - A dangerous chemical is making its way underground closer and closer to the water supplies of Litchfield Park and Avondale. The chemicals were dumped at a manufacturing facility in Goodyear near Van Buren and Litchfield Road in the 1960s by a company called Unidynamics Phoenix Inc. The manufacturing facility at the site has since been demolished. All that is left at the location is a barbed wire fence and a few posted signs warning people of the dangers of hazardous materials on the site. ...
