NT gets glimpse of waterfront plans By Neale Gulley Tonawanda News (NY) October 28, 2010Old rusty storage tanks and abandoned patches of dirt dotting North Tonawanda's landscape might eventually be replaced by fountains, trees and charming storefronts before a picturesque riverfront if all goes as planned. That's what most if not all former industrial waterfront towns have done or are trying to do throughout the nation's Rust Belt and North Tonawanda is no exception.
