[CPEO-BIF] Final reminder for Brownfields 2011 hotel scholarships

FINAL REMINDER

The deadline for requesting EJ/Community hotel scholarships for 
Brownfields 2011 is Thursday, February 24, 2011. We (CPEO) plan to 
notify awardees by March 4, 2011.

CPEO, funded by U.S. EPA, will soon award hotel scholarships to 
environmental justice and other community participants in the 
Brownfields 2011 Conference in Philadelphia April 3-5, 2011. See 
www.brownfields2011.org. (All participants are responsible for their own 
registration, which is free.)

We will be paying directly for 48 rooms for two nights (April 3 and 4) 
at the Downtown Philadelphia Marriott. We will not be providing any 
additional travel assistance.

We will give preference to community activists from the region, but not 
to participants who live close enough to stay at home during the 
conference. Because we expect many more applicants than we can support, 
we will strive to distribute the scholarships among organizations and 
communities.
