A former wastewater treatment site in Mount Kisco is being considered for clean up under the state's Brownfield program.

Last year, the site owner, Crème de la Crème, applied for the voluntary program, which is run by the state’s Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and is a way for contaminated sites to be cleaned up and redeveloped for commercial or residential use.
