Carver day care gets green light to get back into building By John Martin Evansville Courier Press (IN) June 24, 2011The Carver Community Organization has received clearance to return to its child care center on Southeast Eighth Street, which has been closed since February because of an environmental issue. But it will be a few more weeks before the center can reopen. Because it was closed for so long, the facility lost much of its clientele as well as its revenue. First things first, though. Executive Director David Wagner said nothing else could happen until the Indiana Department of Environmental Management declared the building safe; IDEM did so this week. ...
