David McSwane Sarasota Herald-Tribune (FL) July 9, 2011When Sarasota made its latest attempt to sell off a 13-acre swath of contaminated property on the edge of Newtown, not a single developer submitted a proposal. But officials say hefty government incentives, such as a roughly $500,000 clean-up grant the county will consider on Wednesday, have elicited bites from would-be developers.
