Montague Park brownfield one year from opening as city rugby fields Additional acres set aside for outdoor sculpture park and museum By Mary Barnett Nooga.com August 7, 2011After remaining closed and contaminated for nearly a decade, Montague Park is on schedule to re-open in 2012 as the first of three new city- owned full-sized rugby fields located on the former landfill site. With limited to no city funds, a citizen-lead team of interested and diverse businessmen have been working on their own to imagine and initiate the creation of a new public park.
