Greenport Crossings gets underway in Columbia County


GREENPORT - Construction has begun on a three-phase project to  
include a restaurant, brand name hotel and family entertainment center.

Greenport Crossings at 181 Union Turnpike/Route 66 in the Town of  
Greenport will cost some $19 million.

Phase one will include an A&W Root Beer Restaurant, a small  
associated retail store and a Mobil brand gas station, at a cost of  
$2.5 million. Those are expected to be completed by next spring.
