Bethlehem Waterfront Park - Lackawanna

I attended the First Ward Brownfield Opportunity Area information  
meeting presentation in the City of Lackawanna, September 15, 2011. A  
firm was hired to listen to the community, to map out the potential  
reuse of the brownfields and to suggest streetscape design. The main  
section of the waterfront was left out of the plan. With some  
insights from the presentation, I went back my 20-year old design of  
my proposed waterfront park. I started reworking my 3D concept design.

I designed the 3D concept layout with the elements that the  
topography offers. The four main elements, a two mile long beach, a  
1,000 boat harbor, the Buffalo Bills new dome stadium and Splash  
Lagoon all work hand in hand, and combine their respective strengths  
to create a year 'round attraction.
