Liberty Property Trust celebrates bullish start to warehouse, development center By Sara K. Satullo Lehigh Valley Express-Times October 28, 2011Some people may question why Liberty Property Trust is building a warehouse and development center the size of Philly's Comcast Center without a tenant. But CEO and Chairman Bill Hankowsky says his company is being bullish because it needs inventory as the economy begins to turn. Currently, most of its facilities are leased out and the former Bethlehem Steel land is a perfect fit, he said. The project will take an existing brownfield at Route 412 and Commerce Center Boulevard and create an environmentally friendly building that will help both the earth and the future tenants, Hankowsky said. The building will be LEED and Energy Star certified, he said. ...
