Carlisle Tire & Wheel factory to be redeveloped in 2012

RE Invest Solutions, a New York-based brownfield investment firm, is  
buying the former Carlisle Tire & Wheel factory on College Street in  
Carlisle for redevelopment next year.


RE Invest plans to raze the factory that made tires and wheels for  
trailers and recreation vehicles, and redevelop the property  
following an environmental cleanup, said Christopher C. Houston,  
executive director of the Cumberland County Redevelopment Authority.
