Plans to redevelop abandoned PS 6 site move forward Mid-Hudson News (NY) November 30, 2011YONKERS - The Board of the Yonkers Industrial Development Agency has voted to move forward with a public hearing and to negotiate an economic development package that would redevelop the PS 6 school building brownfield site at 33 Ashburton Avenue into a $52.4 million housing project. The project will include a mid-rise senior citizen building with 50 one-bedroom apartments and a high-rise with 70 units of family low-income housing.
