See announcement re: free video-cast of program to be held Wed. Jan. 25, 2012, "New & Innovative Brownfield Opportunities in Connecticut" about Connecticut's new brownfields liability avoidance and relief law: . http://image.exct.net/lib/fef91d73716105/m/1/Brownfield_1211.pdf.  More than 185 live attendees and about a dozen video conference participants form outside Connecticut have already registered.  This new statute, Section 17 of CT. Public Act 11-141 was previewed and discussed at the EPA Brownfields 2011 Conference in Philadelphia during the program entitled, "What Would a Model Brownfield Statute Look Like?"  The new law has a significant provision for public notice and participation.
