Self-storage center coming to Superfund site in Haverford?

HAVERFORD - Planners last week recommended favorable consideration by  
the Zoning Hearing Board of variance requests from Argus Properties,  
Inc. pertaining to a proposed Mr. Storage self-service storage center  
on a portion of the Haverford PCP Superfund site, at the northwest  
corner of Eagle and Lawrence Roads.



Argus representatives said they wanted to obtain a favorable  
recommendation from the commission before moving forward with  
requests for zoning relief at a future date.



Argus is proposing to construct a three-story, 20,809 square-foot  
self-storage facility with "less than 300 storage units" measuring  
25-150 square feet, Louis Gilmore, a partner, said.
