Planners approve zoning change near Dow Diamond By Tony Lascari Midland Daily News (MI) March 1, 2012A proposal to rezone land across from Dow Diamond to make it consistent with the downtown district was backed by the Midland Planning Commission this week. Pat Gillespie with Midland Downtown Partners said the rezoning from regional commercial to downtown will allow his company to build a 240,000-square-foot, $49 million mixed-use facility. ...The project would revitalize a contaminated site that had been home to McKay Press.
