Findlay receives stamp of approval from EPA by Erin Kelly WTOL TV-11 News (Toledo, OH) March 1, 2012FINDLAY, OH (WTOL) – The Findlay School District received a final stamp of approval from the Ohio EPA as the construction of a brand new middle school moves forward. ...The new Glenwood Middle School is being built next to the current middle school on a 15-acre panel that was deemed a Brownfield site. The Ohio EPA provided a $750,000 grant to clean up the property, which used to house a train car factory. Arsenic was detected in the soil, which apparently came from sand blasting work done on train cars. ...
