Mill redevelopment plans in Danielson await state report
Environmental study is a month late

Danielson, Conn. - More than a month after it was due, Killingly is  
waiting for an environmental report outlining any potential  
contamination issues with the vacant Powdrell & Alexander Mill.

The report is needed before development of the property can begin.

Late last year, the state Department of Economic and Community  
Development began a Phase II environmental study to examine soil at  
the property. The results will determine whether remediation is  
necessary.
