Revlon properties in transition in Edison by Bob Makin MyCentralJersey March 5, 2012EDISON - A little more than a week after obtaining Township Council approval to build a warehouse on the Revlon brownfield site at 55 Talmadge Road, Rutherford-based Morris Companies sold one of three adjacent buildings for $16.5 million, the Cushman & Wakefield commercial real estate firm reported. Morris sold the 99,000-square-foot Revlon Research & Development Center, 2121 Route 27, to Angelo, Gordon & Co. on behalf of the $560 million AG Net Lease Realty Fund, said Evelyn Weiss Francisco, spokesman for the East Rutherford-based Cushman & Wakefield. Morris sold the building shortly after signing Revlon to a lease through 2025, according to Cushman & Wakefield. Morris also owns a 248,000-square-foot multitenant office building at 2147 Route 27, connected to the Revlon R&D facility by a common lobby, plus a 140,000-square-foot warehouse on the brownfield site. Several buyers are interested in the recently renovated office building, Francisco said. ...
