About NSCW Now in its fourth year, this event has sold out the three previous years, two in Newark and last year in Bridgeport, CT. Started by a varied, regional group of environmental professionals, its vision is a lively, intense exchange of ideas regarding sustainability and brownfields. NCSW has become a community. The event is as affordable as possible with significant participation from neighborhoods as well as professionals. The networking and NSCW job board have helped a number of participants find employment. Last year's conference featured Connecticut's then new environmental and energy commissioner, and the first questions asked about brownfields liability were one small step towards new legislation that passed a few months later.
