Crayola to move distribution operations to Bethlehem

Crayola LLC plans to move its main distribution center from the  
Harrisburg area to Bethlehem for easier coordination with its Lehigh  
Valley manufacturing headquarters, company officials announced today.

Construction of an 800,000-square-foot warehouse along Route 412 in  
the Majestic Bethlehem Center is slated to start next month with  
completion by December and full operation by next March, company and  
city officials said.

Crayola projects employing between 60 and 80 people at the facility.  
Based in Forks Township, the company will be the first tenant in the  
Majestic Bethlehem Center planned on 440-plus acres between Route 412  
and Applebutter Road in Bethlehem.

Majestic Realty Co. will build the warehouse and lease it to Crayola.
