Proposals for Buffalo Harbor shared 6 development plans aired at
public forum
By Harold McNeil Buffalo News (NY) June 27, 2012Six scenarios for developing the 1,035 acres of Buffalo Harbor were explored Tuesday at a public forum in Herman Badillo School 76. It was the first of three community forums scheduled this week for redeveloping Brownfield Opportunity Areas along the waterfronts of the outer harbor, inner harbor, the Buffalo River and Scajaquada Creek. Brendan Mehaffy, executive director of Mayor Byron W. Brown's Office of Strategic Planning, explained to roughly 60 participants at the forum that the presentation of the various development scenarios are part of a state Department of State development process. ...
