Ravenna eyes old concrete plant site as potential park By Diane Smith Ravenna Record-Courier (OH) October 14, 2012For decades, the old concrete plant that stretches from West Main Street and Highland Avenue in Ravenna has remained unused, except as a parking lot for bar patrons. Now, a brownfields study the city of Ravenna has been undergoing for a year has recommended three sites for improvement, and the concrete plant is at the top of the list. ...Economic Development Director Kerry Macomber said she hopes to eventually turn the concrete plant into a city park. ...
