Subject: | [CPEO-BIF] New York releases draft health consultation for TCE exposures at Bronx New School |
"The New York State Department of Health, in partnership with the federal Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, has completed a draft health consultation for the former Bronx New School (PS 51X) building at 3200 Jerome Avenue in Bronx, New York. The health consultation is based on the results of air samples collected at the former PS 51X building during 2011 by the New York City Department of Education and the New York City School Construction Authority. In the draft health consultation, the Department of Health compares the levels of trichloroethene in indoor air discovered at the school in 2011 to levels considered a concern for health."
