EPA suspects chemical vapors in homes The vapors might be migrating from a Superfund site by Seth Slabaugh Muncie Star-Press (IN) August 19, 2013MUNCIE - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will investigate whether chemical vapors are migrating from a downtown Superfund site into indoor air spaces of nearby residences. The year-long study is part of a $700,000 cleanup at the former Kiser Plating factory, 401 E. Howard St., a block from the YMCA, Open Door Health Services and a McDonald’s restaurant.
