State incentives reclaiming city land by Samantha Joseph Miami Today (FL) October 23, 2013 Garden apartments are among the developments sprouting on former polluted sites, thanks to a growing brownfield movement backed by state incentives. Cleanup is expensive, but supporters say those willing to undertake the work of transforming once-contaminated land are gaining ready-made competitive advantages.
