BZA, commission OK storage expansion

Brown Jug Storage may be adding another row of storage units,  
following recent approvals by Delaware’s Board of Zoning Appeals and  
Planning Commission.

"This small expansion of 12 lockers or so will finish this site,"  
said Planning and Community Development Director David Efland at the  
Planning Commission meeting.

"This was a brownfield site," Efland said. "The applicant bought it,  
cleaned it up and had to remediate some of the brownfield  
contamination. (Owner) Jim Manos planted this row of trees and put up  
a privacy fence."
