Webster brownfield to receive cleanup

A property on Webster Street purchased in 2011 by Crazy Jakes owner  
Greg Doel will receive brownfield cleanup work likely sometime later  
this year.

The building, that sits at 31 Webster on the south side of the street  
apart from many of the intricate older structures, was owned by a  
former insurance company, Crown Agency, but closed in 2010 before the  
eventual sale.

Doel, who has expanded his bar-restaurant enterprise to add a banquet  
facility, and owns several other structures along the street, said  
the environmental contamination stems from its days as a gas station  
more than 40 years ago.
