Whirlpool Progress Report Shows TCE Levels Down In Most, But Not All Areas by Laura Simon KFSM TV-5 News (Fort Smith, AR) January 15, 2015 FORT SMITH - Representatives from Whirlpool said they’re making progress as they work to clean up the trichloroethylene (TCE) contamination in the groundwater beneath and north of their shuttered factory in Fort Smith. The company released its annual progress report on Thursday (Jan. 15).
