Carson stadium land sale completed Chargers, Raiders transfer site to Carson, retain lease for stadium option By Roger Showley Sasn Diego Union-Tribune (CA) May 19, 2015 The Chargers and Oakland Raiders completed the transfer Tuesday of 168 acres in the Los Angeles suburb of Carson, completing another step in building a proposed $1.7 billion, 68,000-seat joint-use football stadium. The teams, acting as Carson Holdings, obtained 157 acres from Starwood Capital, doing business as Carson Marketplace, the name of the previously approved master-planned community at Interstate 405 and Del Amo Boulevard. ...
