EPA Administrator Tells People Near Superfund Site to Stop Living in the Past by Aaron M. Adelson WLOS TV-13 News (Asheveille, NC) October 13, 2015 BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. -- The Environmental Protection Agency met with people who live near the Superfund site at the old CTS plant on Tuesday to discuss cleanup. The EPA wants to use a method that would boil the chemical TCE out of the ground. The EPA, at this time, wants to remove TCE from one acre, what they call the source.
