Groundbreaking for new multimillion-dollar development happening at Hazelwood mill site by Sheldon Ingram WTAE TV-4 News (Pittsburgh, PA) October 30, 2015 PITTSBURGH - The old LTV steel mill site in Pittsburgh's Hazelwood neighborhood is undergoing a transformation into a multimillion-dollar development. Developers broke ground Friday morning on the 178-acre Almono property, named for the Allegheny, Monongahela and Ohio rivers. The development will be reflective of the South Side Works, and will include commercial and residential properties.
