The company also failed to label drums, provide employee training, operate the facility in a manner meant to prevent a release and obtain a valid hazardous waste transporters registration, according to a complaint filed by the Contra Costa District Attorney's Office last year. … For the entire article, see http://www.contracostatimes.com/richmond/ci_29094106/richmond-hazardous-waste-site-be-cleaned-up-owner See also http://richmondstandard.com/2015/11/hazardous-waste-finally-removed-from-iron-triangle-business/ -- Lenny Siegel Executive Director, Center for Public Environmental Oversight a project of the Pacific Studies Center 278-A Hope Street Mountain View, CA 94041 Voice: 650-961-8918 or 650-969-1545 Fax: 650-961-8918 LSiegel@cpeo.org http://www.cpeo.org _______________________________________________ Brownfields mailing list Brownfields@lists.cpeo.org http://lists.cpeo.org/listinfo.cgi/brownfields-cpeo.org | |
