First, Dr. Helen Dawson, previously with USEPA (Chief, OSWER’s Superfund Science Policy Branch) and currently with Geosyntec, will discuss the impact of EPA’s final VI guidance on the regulated community. She will also provide an overview of an ESTCP project that aims to demonstrate mass flux characterization as an alternative means of VI assessment to reduce the uncertainty associated with spatial and temporal variability. Second, Dr. Todd McAlary from Geosyntec will talk about the demonstration and validation of passive samplers for VI assessment.
