Car lot owners redevelop rundown former gas station By BRANDON ROBERTS Huntington Herald-Dispatch (WV) HUNTINGTON - Inside an old gas station at 2802 3rd Ave. in Huntington, it was if as time has stood still. The former Sunoco has sat empty for around 20 years - one of the derelict properties sporadically sprinkled throughout Huntington that no longer served any useful purpose. The property was an eyesore. On its walls were remnants of years of vandalism and neglect. A gathering place for drug activity and other crime, the property, just as many others like it, lowered the value of neighboring real estate.
