Environmental process in Sudbury halts National Development permitting on Raytheon site By Brittney McNamara Metrowest Daily News January 15, 2016 SUDBURY – After a site walk on Thursday, progress on a potential affordable housing and retail complex on the Raytheon land will be halted until the developers get environmental clearance, a Department of Environmental Protection spokesman said. According to Joe Ferson, a DEP spokesman, National Development and Avalon Bay must file an environmental notification form under the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act before the town can issue permits for the project.
