Subject: | [CPEO-BIF] Indiana TCE standard |
Indiana’s Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) has rejected the Accelerated Response Action Level that other regulatory agencies are using for TCE inhalation. IDEM has established both screening and action levels: "We will continue to evaluate TCE indoor air exposures in the same manner as other VOCs with an indoor air screening level (2 ug/m3 for TCE residential) and an action level that is an order of magnitude higher than the indoor air screening level (20 ug/m3 for TCE residential).” For more information, see http://www.in.gov/idem/landquality/files/risc_screening_table_2016_announce.pdf Lenny -- Lenny Siegel Executive Director, Center for Public Environmental Oversight a project of the Pacific Studies Center 278-A Hope St., Mountain View, CA 94041 Voice: 650/961-8918 or 650/969-1545 Fax: 650/961-8918 <lsiegel@cpeo.org> http://www.cpeo.org _______________________________________________ Brownfields mailing list Brownfields@lists.cpeo.org http://lists.cpeo.org/listinfo.cgi/brownfields-cpeo.org | |
